Motorbike Charity Run

Motorbike Charity Run

Two ex-RAF Regiment Gunners recently took part in a Motorbike run raising money for charity. This year the chosen charity was the Centurion Fund. Mike served from 2000 until 2005, serving on 63 Squadron RAF Regiment, deploying on Op TELIC in 2003. Chris served from 2004 until 2019, mainly serving on 15 Squadron RAF Regiment, some instructional posts and a tour as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) with 4 Regt Royal Artillery. Chris completed numerous Operational Tours of Iraq and Afghanistan, most recently on Op HERRICK in 2012 as a JTAC.

Every year the Club undertakes a Charity Run raising money for numerous charities including; Macmillan nurses, Swindon Special Care Baby Unit, Royal Marines Association to name a few, however this year the RAF Regt veterans requested the Centurion Fund be the benefactor of the Club’s Run and we are extremely grateful for the £500 we received.

Thank you gents, Per Ardua.
