RAF Regt Golf – Record Breaking Fund Raising!

On 16^th July 2019 the RAF Regiment Annual Golf Championships were hosted at Celtic Manor, Newport. The event took place over two days playing both the Roman Road and the Montgomery courses. In the evening after the first day we had a meal where we hosted a charity raffle to raise money for the Centurion Fund, the prizes ranged from Golf Clubs to Balls, Golf bags to Golf Trips. As a result we raised £310.00 for the charity.

There were 32 competitors over 3 divisions, there was some excellent golf and after the final day the results were as follows:

Div C winner – Jake Robinson

Div B winner – Warren Bowen

Div A winner – Dafydd Digby

Overall (Scratch) Regiment Champion – John Blanks
