II Sqn Football Team

II Squadron, RAF Regiment’s first season competing within the RAF Brize Norton Inter-Station league has been successful. The team has competed in the league finishing in an admirable mid table position in our first season, competing against some strong opposition from across RAF Brize Norton. The team are currently competing in the Inter-Station Cup competition and are on an impressive run of form. The team are looking to win some silverware this year and are exceeding expectation for a Squadron that have a multitude of commitments which often effects player availability. Unit level football has been a key enabler and has helped to integrate the Squadron deeper into the foundations of RAF Brize Norton by creating more links between II Squadron RAF Regiment and the other units across the station.
